Exhibition Design for Stonewall National Monument Visitor Center

Within the heart of Greenwich Village stands the first LGBTQ+ visitor center in the National Park Service—a space honoring the defiant spirit of the Stonewall Rebellion that ignited a movement. Adjacent to the historic Stonewall Inn at 51 Christopher Street, the exhibition weaves together three pivotal chapters: Greenwich Village's emergence as the nation's first LGBTQ+ enclave, the transformative moment when a police raid sparked rebellion, and the expanding ripples of LGBTQ+ organizing—from the fight against HIV/AIDS to marriage equality in 2015.

The exhibition design pulses with the energy of protest and pride, using flowing color gradients and dynamic archival photography to connect watershed moments. Past and present merge to inspire a new generation of activists carrying forward the enduring fight for LGBTQ+ rights and dignity.
