one of canada’s best art and design school, ontario college of art and design—ocad, achieved degree-granting status in 2011 and with that, a new name. inspired by the iconic building by architect will alsop, the black and white window logo is designed to display work of graduating student medal winners every year. as the school grows and matures, a living library of identities will emerge, recording the ideas and aesthetics that have shaped the school's visual culture over time.
