Restrained
eclecticism
for a living
archive

Housed in a historic Brooklyn brownstone, speaklow is part personal museum, part flea market. The eclectic collection embodies a deeply personal approach: creating atmospheres and evoking memories through intuitive gathering and unexpected juxtapositions of found art, antique objects, and contemporary design. Each piece tells a story, together building a living archive of taste and feeling.

Drawing inspiration from Bauhaus geometric precision and traditional East Asian signature seals, the monogram of interlocking characters balances modernist rigor with timeless elegance. In collaboration with graphic designer Sumire Kobayashi, the identity is refreshed annually, incorporating the zodiac animal in the form of greeting cards. The monogram is also reinterpreted in different formats, from embroidery on handmade pillows to packing tape applied on found shopping bags.
