2016—2017

Target Open House, the part-store, part-lab, part-museum, is re-imagined to introduce customers to the world of internet-connected devices in the context of their daily lives. The centerpiece of Open House is a life-size acrylic home brought to life by giant 16-foot projection screens. Visitors use an iPad to self-identify with a lifestyle then experience multimedia stories of how smart products can work together to enrich their lives. Visitors then go on to explore one of the largest selections of smart devices in The Forum. Every product is presented out of the box to encourage hands-on interaction, along with interactive touch screens to deep dive into each product and explore new functionalities through new product combinations.
