inspired by the intersection of sight, smell, and sound of “market”, the theme for the design exchange’s fundraising gala, i created the “market market” pattern as a seamless glitchy mash-up of different eclectic markets around the world, including paris’ marche aux puces, marrakesh’s bazaar, and london’s dover street market.
duy pham is a Vietnamese Canadian art director based in New York, specializing in visual strategy, identity, and experience.
he previously worked at design firms 2x4 and Local Projects in new York, and Bruce Mau Design in Toronto.
he holds a BFA in Computation Arts from Concordia University in Montreal.
Duy is co-founder of speaklow, a design gallery and interior studio, and a devoted collector of all things comme des garçons.
